Elmhurst 7-Eleven Robbery: Judge Denies Pre-Trial Release for Accused Cook County Duo

Elmhurst, IL – Judge Anthony Coco of the DuPage County Court has denied pre-trial release for two Cook County individuals, Ditalion Barnett and Adyria Moore, accused of an armed robbery at an Elmhurst 7-Eleven. 

DuPage County State’s Attorney Robert Berlin and Elmhurst Chief of Police Michael McLean announced the decision, emphasizing the severity of the charges. The alleged incident occurred on November 24, 2023, when Barnett, accused of brandishing a firearm and threatening a clerk, fled with Moore as the getaway driver. Both were apprehended without incident on November 25. 

The next court appearance is set for December 18, 2023. The public is reminded that these are only charges, and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
