Lisle, IL – In a significant development, the Elmhurst Police Department has charged Kyle V. Lochman, a 21-year-old man from Lisle, IL, in connection with a shooting incident at the Courtyard Marriott hotel on Route 83 in Elmhurst.
According to police reports the incident occurred on Friday when Elmhurst Police responded to a 911 call reporting gunshots near the hotel. A subsequent investigation revealed that a bullet had reportedly entered a third-floor window of the hotel.
Lochman was found asleep in a vehicle in Glendale Heights along with another male, a handgun, and shell casings. The investigation determined that Lochman allegedly fired the handgun from his car while traveling along Route 83.
He faces alleged charges of Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm and Reckless Conduct and has been released on pretrial ahead of his next court appearance on January 29, 2024.
