Fairbury, IL – Streator Man Arrested in Child Case

Fairbury, IL – A Streator man was arrested Tuesday for alleged crimes involving a child.

According to a press release, Fairbury Police, working with the CHAOS Task Force, apprehended a suspect Tuesday in a case involving crimes against a child. The operation concluded on January 16th, 2024, when Drew Lenhausen was taken into custody in Forrest, Illinois. 

Lenhausen allegedly engaged in communications with a minor and arranged to meet at a location in Forrest, where he was arrested by the Fairbury Police. The charges against Lenhausen include alleged indecent solicitation of a child and traveling to meet a child. 

Further details surrounding the incident have yet to be released.
