Fugitive from Bourbonnais Home Invasion Arrested in Texas: U.S. Marshals Bring Him Home

BOURBONNAIS — A dramatic manhunt spanning states has culminated in the arrest of Michael A. Campbell, 25, originally of Bradley. 

Campbell, wanted for his alleged involvement in a June home invasion at Oak Creek Estates mobile home park, was apprehended in Texas by U.S. Marshals. He was extradited overnight to Kankakee County. 

Campbell is now behind bars at the Jerome Combs Detention Center, Kankakee, with bail set at a staggering half a million dollars.
