Indiana Man Found with Meth after Burglarizing Martial Arts Academy

ELKHART, IN – A burglary at a local martial arts school led to the arrest of an Elkhart man found in possession of methamphetamine. 

According to reports Police responded to a burglary in progress at Star Martial Arts last Friday, July 7, around 10:50 p.m. When officers arrived on the scene they found a shattered door and a man later identified as 46-year-old Brian Grant inside. 

Police report Methamphetamine was allegedly found on Grant, resulting in charges of burglary and possession. 

As a result of the incident, Star Martial Arts School will remain closed until Friday, July 14. The investigation continues as authorities work to uncover the motive behind the crime.
