Kankakee County, IL – Kankakee County authorities have arrested four individuals, including a juvenile and a reported felon, on weapons charges.
The sweep was a result of parole compliance checks led by the Illinois Department of Corrections Parole Division, KAMEG, Kankakee City Police P.O.P unit, and the Kankakee County Sheriff’s Office.
The individuals arrested were identified as Sergio Sandoval, 23, Lamir Harris, 19, and Lovell Adams, 28. They face numerous charges, including possession of a firearm by a gang member and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. Adams also faces a charge for possession of a stolen firearm. The juvenile, whose identity remains protected, was also implicated in related offenses.
The arrests occurred at three separate locations within Kankakee County, where firearms, including a loaded AR-pistol and a Glock with an extended magazine, were seized from the residences. The accused are currently detained at the Jerome Combs Detention Center pending further investigation.
