BRADLEY – Bradley Police apprehended 39-year-old Darren Kelly of Kankakee on Tuesday after he allegedly threatened patrons at a business on the 2000 block of North Route 50.

Witnesses reported Kelly was muttering to himself before escalating to threats of violence, declaring he would “pull his gun and shoot them all.” Kelly reportedly fled the scene by the time officers arrived, he was spotted soon after and detained.

The arrest followed a brief chase and a reported scuffle with the police. Kelly now faces charges of aggrieved assault, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct.
