Lake Township, MI – Breaking and Entering at Business, Suspect in Custody

Lake Township, MI – A juvenile suspect was taken into custody following a breaking and entering incident at Mr. Bibs on Star Lake Drive early Friday morning.

According to Sheriff Rich Martin, deputies from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene around 7:01 a.m. The business had been broken into after closing the previous night. Evidence found at the scene led deputies to a nearby residence where the suspect was apprehended.

The stolen property was recovered and returned to the store. Deputies are continuing their investigation to identify additional suspects. Due to the suspect’s age, no further details are being released at this time.
