BOURBONNAIS, IL – A former educational institution in Bourbonnais might soon find new life as a child care facility.

The Village of Bourbonnais has announced a public hearing to consider a special use application for the establishment of child care services at the address 165 Mohawk Dr. The building, which was previously home to Kankakee Valley Montessori School catering to children aged 2-12 years old, could be transformed to meet the growing demand for child care in the area.

Residents and stakeholders interested in this development are encouraged to attend the public hearing scheduled for July 27, 2023, at 5:30 PM at the Planning & Zoning Board located at 700 Main Street NW, Bourbonnais, IL.
