Gas Station robbed Tuesday in Kankakee

KANKAKEE – A gas station was robbed early Tuesday morning.

According to the Kankakee County Sheriff’s Department, it happened just after 10 a.m. when a man with a handgun entered the Gas Depot at 330 South Nelson and demanded money.  The suspect was described as a black male wearing a grey ski mask and hoodie.

That man later fled on foot heading southwest of the Gas Depot.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call Crimestoppers at 815-923-7463.
