Fatal Crash reported on Route 50 in Bradley

A pedestrian was struck and killed while crossing Route 50 shortly after leaving Menards early this morning.

Kankakee County Sheriff reported a fatal crash at the corner of Armour Rd and North Kinzie Avenue early this morning in front of CSL Behring. The Coroner arrived on the scene shortly after the report.

Kankakee County Coroner reports 63-year old Jerry Shoemaker of Bourbonnais was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:17 am this morning.

An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow.

Bradley Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
