The Frankfort Bluegrass Festival has announced its lineup for the 11th Annual event, set to take place on July 8th and 9th, 2023. The festival is a free 2-day event that will feature award-winning national and regional bluegrass bands on two stages, workshops, craft and food vendors, and a kids’ area with an activities tent and picker’s tent.

This year’s performers include the Travelinâ„¢ McCourys, Tim O’Brien Band, Becky Buller Band, Special Consensus, Henhouse Prowlers, Nu-Blu, and many more. The festival is dedicated to expanding the awareness of bluegrass music through performances, workshops, and education in a family-friendly atmosphere. All the volunteers work with top-quality national and regional acts, local artists, craft makers, and businesses to bring a well-rounded, family-friendly 2-day event with something for everyone to historic downtown Frankfort.

The festival also announced a fundraiser event on May 19th, 2023, at CD & ME in Frankfort, Illinois. The event will feature Fox Crossing Stringband and two other performers. The festival is a non-profit organization, and those who would like to support it can donate or become a sponsor through the festival’s website or by contacting the organizers via email or phone.
