Plainfield Police: Traffic Crash Involving Injuries Cleared, None Life-Threatening

PLAINFIELD, IL – The Plainfield Police Department responded to a traffic crash tonight involving injuries at the intersection of Route 59 and Fraser Road.

Eight ambulances were dispatched to the scene just after 8 p.m., prompting an EMS box alarm to ensure adequate resources for the victims. The roadway has been reopened, and several individuals involved in the accident have been transported to the hospital.

Fortunately, none of the injuries are life-threatening at this time. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident, which caused significant delays in the area. This is a developing story, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
