North Aurora’s Asbury Gardens Receives Prestigious B.E.S.T. in Class Award for Nursing Excellence

NORTH AURORA, IL – Asbury Gardens Nursing and Rehabilitation, located at 210 N. Airport Road, was honored with the B.E.S.T. in Class award from Telligen QI Connect on Wednesday. 

The award, recognizing excellence in nursing care and facility management, was presented to a group of Asbury’s top executives and staff members during a ceremony at the facility. Among the attendees were Moshe Kahn, the owner of Asbury; Sue Ahlgren, the executive director; Cynthia Jones, the nursing director; and Helen Lacek, the operations director. 

The award marks Asbury Gardens as one of 28 Illinois nursing homes acknowledged for their high standards in resident safety and quality care. Criteria for the award included rigorous benchmarks such as excellence in COVID-19 vigilance, emergency preparedness, and staff training in infection prevention. The event concluded with a reception celebrating the team’s achievements.
