(PEORIA, IL) – A late-night shooting in Peoria has resulted in one fatality and another individual sustaining non-life-threatening injuries.
According to the Peoria Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 3400 block of W. Fallen Oak on Saturday night at 10:18 p.m. following reports of a male shot. Upon arrival, authorities found one adult male with a graze wound to his back and another adult male with apparent gunshot wounds who was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing with the identity of the deceased, along with the cause and manner of death, set to be disclosed by the Peoria County Coroner at a later time.
