KANKAKEE, IL – A major motor vehicle accident occurred this morning at the intersection of W IL Route 113 and Edgewater Drive in Limestone.
According to reports, a single vehicle was found on its side with heavy damage, and extrication efforts were underway to free the trapped passengers.
Kankakee Fire Department was called to the scene with an engine to assist in the rescue operation. The accident resulted in the closure of Route 113, and officials are advising drivers to avoid the area.
