Multiple intersections are facing challenges with non-functional traffic signals, prompting local authorities to urge residents and drivers to exercise caution. The outage, affecting a substantial portion of Schaumburg, has led to increased safety concerns on the roads.

According to local officials, the power disruption began earlier in the day, and efforts are underway to address the issue. The authorities are collaborating with ComEd, the region’s primary electric utility, to swiftly restore power. Residents are advised to treat all affected intersections as four-way stops and to remain alert while driving.
