Additionally, damaging wind gusts up to 70 mph and frequent lightning are possible, along with torrential downpours. The affected areas include major cities such as Memphis, TN; Jackson, MS; and Sikeston, MO.

This includes securing outdoor objects that could become projectiles in high winds and ensuring that vehicles are parked in sheltered areas to prevent hail damage.
