Tinley Park Trembles as Armed Robbery Strikes Local Target Store

TINLEY PARK, Ill. – A suburban Target store located at 7300 W 191st St, was the victim of a reported armed robbery Sunday night.

According to scanner reports it happened around 10 p.m. just before the business closed for the night.  According to police reports two men confronted a store clerk and took an undetermined amount of cash while employees were changing the cash drawers.  Both men were reportedly wearing surgical masks at the time of the robbery and soon fled the store in an unmarked black sedan.

Authorities urge anyone with information to come forward as the community unites in resilience against such bold criminal acts.
