Toddler Injured in Violent Bourbonnais Home Invasion Targeting Video Games

BOURBONNAIS, IL – A home invasion in Oak Creek Estates Mobile Home Park in Bourbonnais turned violent early Saturday morning, leaving a toddler injured. 

According to the Kankakee County Sheriff’s reports, two masked individuals thought to be armed with knives and a gun broke into a residence around 3 a.m. They reportedly fled the home with cash and electronic gaming devices. Reports say that during the chaos, a one-year-old child may have been accidentally stepped on by one of the intruders. 

The incident remains under investigation, and anyone with information is urged to contact the Sheriff’s office.
