St. Louis, MO – A south St. Louis smoke shop is under investigation Monday after a police search uncovered drugs, cash, and a rifle following a recent shooting involving two people.

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, detectives executed a search warrant at the Furr Smoke Shop and Market on April 20 after two individuals were shot at the location the night before. Authorities said the operation led to the seizure of approximately three pounds of suspected marijuana, 10 pounds of chocolate bars believed to contain THC, and an AR-15-style rifle equipped with an extended magazine.

Police also reported that roughly $10,000 in cash was recovered during the search. Investigators are now focusing on identifying those allegedly operating out of the business and determining the source of the suspected illegal products.

The shooting that prompted the investigation remains under active review, and officials have not released details about the victims’ conditions or any suspects connected to the incident.

According to police, the case could expand as detectives continue a broader investigation into potential illegal activity tied to the shop and possibly other locations in the area.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the establishment or related criminal activity to come forward. Tips can be directed to Drug Enforcement detectives or submitted anonymously through CrimeStoppers.

The investigation remains ongoing as police work to determine the full scope of operations connected to the business.
