KANKAKEE – The Kankakee County Center Against Sexual Assault (KC-CASA) will host a virtual Zoom movie review for area students later this month.

“We feel that there are many movies out there that send teens mixed messages and promote unhealthy behaviors and relationships. Our Monthly Movie Review will choose a new movie each month and discuss those harmful messages with students. Any students in 6th-8th grade are welcome!” KC-CASA said in a statement Friday.

This month’s film is “The Kissing Booth” which is available on Netflix now.  Students are asked to watch the film on their own time and join the group for discussion on October 28th at 5:30 pm.

Students must reach out via email for a zoom link.  More information on the program can via email at ssoda@kc-casa.org or call 815-932-7273 ext. 224.
