During the weekend of June 14-16, 2019 two local events were held. The Senior Safety Fair, hosted by States Attorney Jim Rowe, at Quality Inn and Suites in Bradley, provided local seniors with information and resources to take charge of their healthcare and protect themselves from scams that target the elderly. One of the highlights was a K9 demonstration from the Bradley Police Department.
Later that evening families packed the Perry Farm in Bourbonnais for Family Night Out. The event unveiled the brand new Barnyard Playground and featured bouncy houses, a petting zoo, pony rides, games, a farm show, and a movie in the park.
