Papi’s Pizza Café at 150 E Station Street in Kankakee and its newest location in Northfield Square Mall has announced it will be shutting its ovens down for good on September 19th.

In a statement Monday night via the Pizzeria’s Facebook Page:

“Dear valued customers

PAPI’S PIZZA CAFÉ WILL BE CLOSING PERMANTLY AS OF SEPTEMBER 19th, 2019.

Our family has received a new opportunity and after extensive discussion we have decided it is in our family’s best interest to accept this offer. It has been a true pleasure serving the Kankakee community these past few years and we will miss each and every one of you.

Thank you & God bless”

Papi’s Pizza Café first opened its doors on June 2017. Its location in Northfield Square Mall opened its doors for the first time this past Spring.
