211 Hotline now available in Kankakee, Iroquois and Ford

KANKAKEE – A 2-1-1 service provided by the United Way is now available for area residents for free. The hotline is dedicated to connecting individuals to information regarding available resources, including:

  • Healthcare and mental health resources
  • Job training programs
  • Childcare and after-school programs
  • Food, shelter, clothing and utility assistance
  • Other community-based programs, including local government information, and more.

The hotline is provided by United Way; county health departments in a partnership with the PATH (Providing Access to Help) organization.
