KANKAKEE, IL – The annual Kankakee/Iroquois County Back to School Fair, organized by Catholic Charities, Diocese of Joliet, is set to take place on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, from 11am-1pm at a new location: Kankakee Community College.

This summer event aims to assist low-income families in accessing school supplies and information from supporting service agencies, ensuring a positive start to the new academic year. Due to the ongoing pandemic, this year’s event will be a contact-free drive-thru school supply distribution.

Pre-registration is required, and online registration will open on May 23, 2023, through the Catholic Charities website. Supplies are limited, so early registration is encouraged.
