The Greater Kankakee Black Chamber of Commerce will have an expo on Oct. 16 with a variety of activities for business and community members.

The Community Business Expo will have business representatives sharing information, plus entertainment, family-friendly demonstrations and food trucks.

The event will be Saturday, Oct. 16 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Kankakee Community College.

Businesses are invited to participate for free. To reserve a booth, and to see event details, go to news.kcc.edu  and click on Community Expo.

KCC is located south of downtown Kankakee off River Road, near U.S. 45-52, or take Interstate 57 to Exit 308 and follow the signs. The address for directions is 100 College Drive, Kankakee.

The Greater Kankakee Black Chamber of Commerce was organized in 2018 to develop, educate, economically empower, sustain and promote African-American businesses by advocating for economic development through pro-black business legislative policies, entrepreneurship, procurement, community reinvestment, programmatic and professional development, and capitalistic activity within the Kankakee Area.
