COVID-19: Kankakee County recovery rate just 22%, 2 new deaths announced Wednesday

Kankakee County Health Department officials announced six new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.  Among them included men and women ranging in age from 40 years old to over 80.

Two new deaths were reported by the Health Department for the area today, bringing County death totals to 22. As of Tuesday afternoon, 66 cases had recovered from the virus.   Kankakee County’s recovery rate stands at just 22% since the pandemic began.

  • 16 Cases (Manteno) 10% TTDP
  • 48 Cases (Bourbonnais) 14.5% TTDP
  • 15 Cases (Bradley) 10.6% TTDP
  • 175 Cases (Kankakee) 25.8% TTDP
  • 9 Cases (St. Anne) 14% TTDP
  • 9 Cases (Momence) 14% TTDP
