Kankakee County, IL – Kankakee County’s 2023 birth statistics reveal a fascinating trend in baby names, with over 1,100 children born.

According to the Kankakee County Clerk, Dan Hendrickson, the county registered 1,106 births last year. Among these, the names Noah, Lucas, Avery, and Ava stood out as the most popular choices for newborns. This figure represents a slight decline from 2022, with 117 fewer births recorded.

The data also highlighted June as the peak month for births in the county, with 108 babies born. This snapshot into the naming trends and birth statistics of Kankakee County offers a unique insight into the preferences and demographic shifts within the community.
