Kankakee to Host Community Broadband Meeting on May 25

KANKAKEE, IL – The Illinois Broadband Lab, in collaboration with the Illinois Office of Broadband and the University of Illinois System, will hold an in-person listening session in Kankakee on Thursday, May 25. This event provides an opportunity for residents and local organizations in Kankakee, Illinois, to voice their concerns and priorities regarding high-speed internet connectivity and access.

The meeting will take place from 5-6 p.m. at the Kankakee Public Library, located at 201 E. Merchant St., Kankakee, IL 60901. The gathering aims to gather input to inform the state’s plan in utilizing federal funding for broadband initiatives.
