Kankakee High School Blood Drive 2024: Supporting Community and Student Scholarships

Kankakee, IL – The community spirit is set to thrive at Kankakee High School’s blood drive. In an impactful collaboration with the American Red Cross, the school is hosting the event on Friday, April 26, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Front Gym. The drive not only supports the vital need for blood donations but also contributes to the school’s scholarship fund, directly benefiting graduating seniors.

According to Kankakee School District 111, participants must be at least 16 years old, with those under 18 requiring parental consent. The initiative encourages students and community members alike to partake. Sign-ups will take place in the cafeteria, and all attendees must present a photo ID. The event underscores the school’s dedication to civic engagement and the well-being of the community.
