Missing Indiana man found dead near I-74 in Vermilion County

CHAMPAIGN – Illinois State Police are investigating the death of an Indiana man after he was found dead near I-74 in Vermilion County Saturday night.

According to Illinois State Police investigating the case, at 4:45 pm this afternoon Justin Marcinko, 42 of Covington Indiana, was found dead near the Interstate.

“Justin was reported missing through social media and to the Covington Indiana Police Department by his family on Feb. 3, 2021.” said Illinois State Police Investigations in a statement posted to social media Saturday night.

No further details were reported. The case is now under investigation.
