Multiple vehicles stolen in Braidwood over weekend

BRAIDWOOD – Multiple vehicles were reported stolen early Saturday morning.

According to Braidwood Police, it happened during the early morning hours of August 6th when police took multiple reports of stolen motor vehicles.  At the time of the report, both vehicles had been unlocked and still had the keys inside of them.

Cars taken included the 1-200 Block of N Hickory, 700 Block of Blackhawk, 800 Block of Western, and 1-200 Block of Harbor Landing.

“If you live on the following streets we ask that you check your home security footage between the hours of 9pm (Friday) until 4am (Saturday) for suspicious vehicles and persons.” Police said in a statement Saturday.

A suspected individual and vehicle has been identified in the case.  Anyone with further information on the thefts is asked to call 815-458-2341.
