Peotone teen found dead on Indiana State University campus

TERRE HAUTE – An 18-year-old Peotone student has been found dead on the campus of Indiana State University. 

According to local authorities, roommates of 18-year-old Dylan McConkey found the Peotone resident dead inside Cromwell Hall.

Indiana State University President Dr. Deborah J. Curtis called the death a “terrible tragedy” and expressed condolences to the McConkey family.

No cause of death has been released as local authorities continue to investigate the incident.
