Quincy, Kankakee Illinois now hold two spots in the top 5 for worst outbreak in US

KANKAKEE – Residents of Quincy should brace for the national spotlight this morning as the Illinois community climbed into the top five on the New York Times “Where the Outbreak is Worst Now” list, overtaking Kankakee.

Qunicy now sits at #3 in the nation for ‘Where the Outbreak is Worst Now“.

Quincy climbed four spots from the #7 worst Wednesday to overtake El Paso Texas on the list Thursday morning while El Paso fell from #3 to #8 Thursday. Quincy now is averaging daily cases over the last two weeks of 197.2 cases daily. 

Kankakee remains stagnate for the #4 worst in the state, averaging 191.1 cases per day over the last two weeks.
