Skittles, 327 other edibles, found in Vehicle during Traffic Stop on I-65

LOWELL – A man faces preliminary felony charges after a traffic stop Friday morning lead to the discovery of 328 packages of marijuana edibles, including a Skittles variant.

According to Indiana State Police reports, officers took the 31-year-old Gary man into custody without incident during a traffic stop on March 12th for possession of the edibles. 

The driver now faces preliminary charges for Possession of a Controlled substance, a Level 6 felony in the state, and transported to the Jasper County Jail.

The Driver’s vehicle was originally pulled over on I-65 for a moving violation.
