Will County has had it’s first death of a teenager from COVID-19.
The victim is a female teen from the area. No further information was released from the Illinois Department of Public Health.
She was one of eight people in the County on Tuesday from COVID-19. Tuesday was Illlinois deadliest day with 144 deaths announced. Today’s deaths contributed towards Illlinois death totals rising over 2,000 since the pandemic began on Tuesday.
There have now been 145 deaths alone in Will County since the pandemic began due to contracting COVID-19.
