DWIGHT – Two people were found victims of a stabbing in Dwight earlier this week.

According to Dwight Police reports, it happened Thursday evening when Dwight Police were called to the 100 block of W. Waupansie Street in reference to the stabbings.  After arriving on the scene, officers found a woman with a lacerated arm and a man with stab wounds to both the stomach and chest.

“This appears to be related to a domestic disturbance,” Dwight Police said this week in a statement.

A short time later, officers found a man who had allegedly run out of the house to seek help.  Later during investigation it was determined that man, identified as 35-year-old Cory Clark of Dwight, was allegedly the person who stabbed one of the victims.

Clark was arrested for aggravated battery in the case and transported to the Livingston County Jail.

No update has been provided on the condition of the victims.

The case remains under investigation.
