COVID-19: Single largest one day case jump, 1,842 new cases in Illinois

Illinois Department of Public Health officials announced this afternoon the single largest day jump in new COVID-19 cases, announcing 1,842 new cases this afternoon and 62 new deaths.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic began in March, Illinois has accounted for 27,575 cases of the Virus, with 1,134 deaths directly attributed to contracting the disease.
