Officials announced today a resident female in her 30s had tested positive for the virus.  Local health officials say in a release they are working to contact all persons that may have been in contact with the woman in the past several days.

“We thank the Grundy County community for being so responsive to executive orders and cooperating with the public health recommendations. Please continue to practice social distancing so that we can keep the numbers of confirmed cases low in Grundy County, and offer resources to those persons experiencing severe symptoms.  The Health Department continues to be available for general inquires and some screening processes.  Symptomatic persons should consult their health care professionals for medical guidance,” said Michelle Pruim, Public Health Administrator.
