With 1.3 million tests taken to date, 634 COVID-19 cases announced Saturday

Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) today announced 634 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Illinois, including 45 additional confirmed deaths.

One of those deaths was a male in his 70s in Will County.  As of Friday, the Will County Health Department has reported 610 COVID-19 related deaths to date.

Since the pandemic began, Illinois has now reported 136,104 cases including 6,625 deaths across 101 counties in Illinois.  Over 1.3 million COVID-19 tests have been taken in the State of Illinois.  The current testing count stands at 1,336,968 tests with 25,965 received by labs in the state in the past day.
