Carroll County, IL – Tornado and severe thunderstorm warnings have been issued for Carroll County until 8:45 a.m. today.

According to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, residents in southwestern Carroll County should take immediate shelter due to a tornado warning. Additionally, a severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for the entire county, with wind gusts of 60 mph and penny-size hail expected. More storms are anticipated after 11:00 a.m., with potential wind gusts reaching 80 mph. Authorities advise preparedness for further severe weather and to stay updated on local alerts throughout the day.
