Bloomington Police Arrest Juvenile with Un-serialized Firearm

Bloomington, IL – Police officers responded to a shots fired report on West Front Street Wednesday evening. 

According to police reports the investigation led to the arrest of a 15-year-old male, found with ammunition and an un-serialized firearm. Chief Jamal Simington praised the officers’ swift action and the community’s collaboration in addressing gun violence. 

No injuries were reported.
