Chicago, Illinois – A GoFundMe campaign is underway to support the family of off-duty Chicago Police Officer Timothy M. Siwula, who was tragically killed in a car crash in Tinley Park December 9th.

The fundraiser, initiated by Kevin Siwula, aims to cover funeral costs and memorial services for the 34-year-old officer. Siwula, who served in the Chicago Police Department’s 009 district, is remembered as a dedicated leader and friend.

Both drivers were injured in the two car crash Saturday at the intersection of 179th Street and LaGrange Road in Tinley Park. Village officials confirmed that both involved drivers were initially taken to Silver Cross Hospital, where Siwula was subsequently pronounced deceased. Another driver was later transferred to Loyola University Medical Center to receive further treatment for injuries sustained in the accident.
