Candlelight Vigil Shines Light on Domestic Violence Survivors in Kankakee

KANKAKEE, IL – Harbor House, the leading coalition against domestic violence in Kankakee County, invites the community to join them at a poignant Candlelight Vigil on October 26. 

Set for 6:30 p.m. at the Kankakee County Courthouse Lawn, the event honors survivors and pays tribute to those tragically lost to domestic violence. 

Distinguished speakers, including Jenny Schoenwetter, Rev. Kelly Perotti, Monica Pizano, and Chief Al Swinford, will share their remarks, emphasizing the importance of community support and advocacy. In a united stand against violence, Kankakee showcases its commitment to change and healing.
