St. Anne Police Department’s Beloved K-9 Capa Retires After Years of Dedicated Service

St. Anne, IL — The St. Anne Police Department has announced the retirement of K-9 Capa, a valued member of their force. 

Capa, who celebrated his 8th birthday in August, has served diligently with the Aroma Park Police Department from 2017-2021 and with St. Anne from 2021-2023. Praised for his service, Chief Navratil expressed admiration for Capa’s partnership, stating, “There is no better partner I could ask for.” 

The community thanks Capa for his service and wishes him a joyful retirement.
