Marseilles, IL – A severe rollover accident on East 24th Road just north of Marseilles prompted an urgent response from emergency services Saturday night. Â
According to police reports it began at approximately 9 p.m., a Life Flight helicopter was dispatched to the scene where 34-year-old Teran Brito of Aurora was found ejected from his vehicle.
Brito was subsequently airlifted to Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove for urgent medical treatment. A passenger, 28-year-old Jasson Montano, also from Aurora, was transported by ambulance to OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa.
Authorities issued a ticket to Brito for failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident, underlining the importance of adhering to safe driving practices.
