GRIFFITH – The Griffith Police Department is spearheading a mission to identify a man captured on camera, allegedly committing an act of animal abandonment. 

According to police, the suspect, a black male, was reportedly recorded leading a pit bull before heartlessly tying it to a fence and leaving the scene. Authorities urge the community for leads and have shared contact details for Griffith Detective Carney for those with relevant information. 

Residents can also use the Anonymous Tip Hotline, ensuring they remain nameless while still aiding the case.
