Highland, IN – Impersonating USPS Employee, Highland Man Sentenced for Mail Theft Crimes

Highland, IN – Nurldon Green III has been sentenced to over two years in prison for a mail theft operation he conducted in 2022. 

According to the Department of Justice, Green posed as an employee of the U.S. Postal Service (USPS), enabling him to steal various types of mail, including checks. This fraudulent activity affected numerous residents, particularly in Indiana, with police discovering around 60 pieces of stolen mail upon his arrest. 

Following his prison term, Green will undergo an additional two years of supervised release. This case underscores the importance of mail security and the consequences of postal fraud.
