South Bend, IN – Northern Indiana is bracing for a wet week ahead, but not without a sunny respite. While scattered showers and isolated storms are expected through Saturday, Sunday promises clearer skies and mild temperatures, according to the US National Weather Service.

Today’s weather features scattered showers, primarily in the morning, with high temperatures ranging from 62 to 74 degrees Fahrenheit. The weekend will see a continuation of this pattern, with potential evening showers on Saturday and temperatures peaking at 79 degrees.

Sunday will offer a brief pause from the rain, with early morning showers possible and highs between 63 and 76 degrees.

Residents should keep their umbrellas handy as the forecast for Monday and Tuesday indicates a return of showers and possibly stormy conditions, with Tuesday’s temperatures soaring to highs between 77 and 81 degrees. This mixed bag of weather conditions highlights the typical unpredictability of spring in the Midwest.
